Meet Dr. Irvin

Dr. Melissa Irvin, DVM, cVMA, CRPM
Dr. Irvin is a native of Concord, North Carolina. She graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and received her Doctorate from North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine. After receiving her doctorate, Dr. Irvin interned at a busy 24-hour hospital located in Hollywood, Florida. She then relocated to Winston-Salem, where she worked at a small animal hospital for 3 years, before moving back to the Cornelius area to be closer to family.
Dr. Irvin’s professional interests include acupuncture and integrative rehabilitation. She is certified in Acupuncture (cVMA), Integrative Rehabilitation, and Physical Medicine (CRPM).
Outside the office, Dr. Irvin enjoys yoga and aerial, spending time with her family, and playing with her two cats, Mabel and Hazel.
